About me

I first got behind a microphone over 30 years ago and have what would be regarded as a well educated, calm and distinguished voice.

My natural accent is British English. Some of my clients have used words to describe my voice that include authoritative, corporate, educational, intelligent, confident, and sincere.

I specialize in corporate work, explainer and education video, IVR (telephony messaging) and commercials for radio and TV.

I can record your project in less than 24 hours if not too long, and can send you either raw audio files without any processing, or processed files ready for using on your project (I usually add a small amount of compression and EQ)

Audio is delivered as WAV file at 44,100 Hz sample rate and 24 bit PCM, but I can deliver at 48kHz if it is to be used for video or as mp3 or any other format - just let me know what you require.

Equipment

I have a professional studio, fully acoustically treated and soundproof. I use either an Austrian Audio OC18 cardioid condenser microphone or a Super-cardioid Sennheiser MKH 416 into an Audient ID4 audio interface and processing is done on a Mac with Reaper and Izotope RX 9 Standard, as well as Waves & FabFilter plugins. I use either Cleanfeed or Source-Connect Now for directed sessions.
